OVERVIEW

An interactive 1 day workshop based program designed to take participants through step-by-step processes of Work Structuring & Job Design as devised by Christian Schumacher. This course provides the tools and techniques to build new organizations, identify how changes can affect existing structures & analyze existing organizations for effectiveness. It is suitable for second level managers or those involved in organizational changes.

WORKSHOP CONTENT AND METHODOLOGY

Working individually and in groups, participants practice the tools and techniques on both case study and real work issues.

The program includes:

  • A background to work structuring and job design methodologies developed by Christian Schumacher.
  • The key principles and critical steps in a systematic manner.
  • A variety of inputs, exercises and case studies based on the practical application of a number of tools and techniques.
